Drug and substance abuse, poverty, access to necessities and services, over-criminalization and high arrest rates, taxes, fines, and systemic discrimination against poverty,, broken families and absentee parents, insufficient housing and transportation, obesity and poor mental health, lack of access to financial services and jobs, generational history of poverty and oppression etc.

Make no mistake, while there are significant cultural differences and nuances among economically gutted inner city and rural communities, the plight of the poor throughout the US and the broader western world isn't black vs white or immigrant vs natural-born.

While the degree and nuances vary among communities, they share the same reality of hopelessness and oppression.

Can we just unite and support each other already and stop allowing our toxic leaders to divide and oppress us?
