The Brits are bastards with our modern lens but as a product of their time they were fukn mild in how they went about colonialism. Pretty much everyone else was far worse in their treatment of native populations.
No doubt if you or I were Aborigines living in the 1700s and 1800s we would have hated them with a passion but if one can’t look back 250 years and generations later at the society that was built here, that they benefit inordinately from, then you’re just a clown.
