Scalping makes many people mad, but scalping is always acceptable. It is inpossible to decrease the supply of a product if you are re-selling it. Therefore it is impossible to both manipulate a market AND profit off of that manipulation. Scalpers on average only make money when retailers were already acting to create an artificial shortage.
