There are just TWO classes of taxes in American law.

Direct or Indirect.

Direct are prohibited by Constitution unless "apportioned". There has NEVER been a direct tax enacted in the history of America.

Indirect are of three types: Impost, Duty, Excise. These taxes are everywhere including at the ports. The only possible place for any "Income Tax" in concordance with the Constitution is within the EXCISE type. This has been confirmed in multiple Supreme court decisions such as Brushaber, and last year again restated in MOORE v. United States.

But Indirect taxes are BASED ON THE RECEPTION OF A BENEFIT OR PRIVILEGE.

"excise tax and privilege tax are synonymous" American Airlines v. Williams.

You have a RIGHT to work.

So, where is the privilege?
