Maybe a satoshi ditched a bitcoin and a go development #monero why not?

Timing doesn't align well.

neither does the sneering, cultish personality line up

I never thought about Monero also having a founder, but I guess it must have. Weird thought.

I think monero and bitcoin have some links.

Sure it has. Bitcoin > Then Bytecoin aka Bitmonero aka Monero is how it was named at the beginning.

It's not a coincidence that "Bytecoin"/Cryptonote has an anonymous "founder" like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin's history is super exiting. So is Monero's.

fluffybunny has been a significant figure in cryptocurrency since very early on, i think it started up in 2011 or 2022, and he postures and poses a lot about privacy and egalitarianism in mining - the simple fact is that only one cryptocurrency can survive in the long term on proof of work mining, without having a central figure shifting things around and pushing people to follow his chosen fork

that's the big difference about bitcoin, there is no central figure, and it has outlasted almost everything

probably if fluffybunny loses his cachet or dies or something, that there will be a big fight over it, it forks yet again into 5 different chains and demonstrates the problem of people leading these things

Fluffypony... Not bunny

well, that's how much i respect him in any case
