Well, clearly God created the earth with the appearance of age. Science can say no more than that.

Why did God make the earth appear old by every validatable/repeatable measure? I sure don’t know…I’m not God. But I have no problem accepting the earth looks really friggin old and the Bible doesn’t disclose this fact.
