We have plenty of good quality plastic straws at home which we bought abroad but was caught off guard here.
Banning a whole category of thing is insane. They could've just had recycling that works.

it was utter shit, tests everywhere for everything... i stayed within serbia and bulgaria, crossed the border three times without any tests, one time i got arrested for walking up over a hill beside it and got lost at the top instead of continuing on... no charges, just 24 hours in a cell, and then the cops who were handling me gave me a lift to sofia after i walked half way there
That's crazy. I think it was much more relaxed in the Balkans. I think people are more aware of tyranny than other parts. It was nice to holiday in Croatia normally compared to the idiocracy going on other places.
