Yes I’m sure everyone that studies biology in school knows CO2 is good for plants. You breathe out CO2, plants breath it in, they breath out oxygen, we breathe it in. Repeat. That was my first chapter in my bio textbook. No one is saying that CO2 is just some toxic chemical on its own. I have yet to see that anyway.

Yeah exactly my thoughts too. It's basic biology.

But most major governments and companies, like the one I work for, are obsessed with lowering the CO2 emissions of their products by 50% by 2030, or whatever their target is... All this is based on the Paris agreement and they call them SBT, science based targets, where they say how bad CO2 is for the environment bla bla bla...

Internal combustion engines can emit some harmful substances in the environment but CO2 is not one of them... Otherwise we should also focus on the increasing human population exhaling more and more CO2 😅...

I get what you’re saying but I would have to look at the science more. It’s undeniable that we can have too much of a good thing. This is something that our society is learning today. We can’t escape the negative. We can’t escape the bloating obesity of modern life. It will crush us under its own weight. Life is a balance and a game. And we aren’t playing by it’s rules (if you can even call them that) anymore.
