I do it when I am in the car (not often) and it explains perfectly why my podcast is and has been so successful. 60 minutes to an hour, I'd say in that hour 35 minutes are commercials and 💩 like that and only 25 minutes as "content" and all the content is the same.

Music channels even in genres I like are WORSE, perhaps 35 minutes of music but the music is garbage, absolute total shit. This isn't me being old and crotchety either, it is absolute garbage. I get hip hop and dance club shit, but why the fuck is it on Country and Classic Rock Stations.

Top 40 music used to be half decent and half garbage. Now it is all garbage, I blame DEI. When Beyoncé is winning Country Album of the year you know that industry is dead.

I don't even own one anymore. Well I guess my newer car still has access to a radio but I wouldn't even know where to look.

we have two local radio stations where I live.

no commercials but the programming is almost exclusively libtard focused.

The only FM channel I listen to is the device connected to my phone via Bluetooth that transmits over FM and lets me listen to podcasts or my own music.

Yep FM transmitters work pretty well when you find a vacant spot, I use one with auxiliary not bluetooth connected to a cassette walkman.

Contrary to popular belief, a cassette recorded on a proper deck sounds great.

My current phone doesn't have headphone jack but I would prefer listening that way.

DAB+ 80s stations are a little better if you can get a bloody signal, the talking & Ads are still shit.
