The US was helping the Saudis in their Yemeni genocide for years, beginning during Trumps first term. And now Trump is directly attacking Yemen on behalf of Israel and is indiscriminately killing civilians. So the Houthis are well within their rights to fight back. Whether Iran is 'backing' them or not is 100% irrelevant
