It’s a win-win situation. These people want to keep moving & our little town doesn’t have any capacity to help them if they get stuck here.

You may find out that it's not actually a big win for you and your fellow Mexicans when the USA becomes a majority Spanish speaking nation.

Again, we’re in Costa Rica, not México.

And you might be very surprised about my nationality 😆

If you're in Costa Rica it's quite possible you're American or another expat but of course there are plenty of Americans in the USA who are all for open borders. That doesn't make it good for the USA or Latin America. Most of central and South America are below replacement rate already so mass migration will precipitate demographic collapse.

For me personally, open borders is a good concept that can’t be implemented in the current paradigm. First, we need to fix the money. Once we fix the money, we can fix the world.

Why would you want to treat your country differently to how you treat your home? Or do you believe there is a paradigm shift that would allow you to leave your front door unlocked at night as well?

So you’re a globalist? Borders exist for a reason.

lol…all families become primarily English speaking in the states…but statistically, the smartest & most productive citizens of the united states are bilingual or more.
