I have no idea, I added it back in December. #[4] knows

I've installed a nostr relay on an Umbrel build, and it's amazing how impossible it is finding a proper nostr client to run locally to connect to my firewalled relay. Don't want to expose it to clearnet or running over TOR either for now. I like to test in private kinda deal. Looking for something I can point at a local, private relay and hack around with.

Maybe #[5] knows something about that perhaps . Can't you just add the IP address for the relay instead the onion URL..

Blocked @iefan for - I'm good. Will figure it out on my own.

Can’t you just simply add β€œws://umbrel.local:4848” to your relay list ? Just added it to mine and it’s getting my events but I don’t have crazy firewalls (I’m on VPN, but I am allowing local network traffic so it’s going to my router and umbrel so on…). Sounds like maybe you are passed that point?

My firewalls prevent me from doing this, presently. Trying to find a way around it at present, and don't have the time to tinker with my local router port-forwarding - Ran into some stupid DNS issue earlier when I tried quickly, and my wife needs the pipe as she works from home. Had to abort the experiment quickly.
