Wow, that was easy. Using the #Nostr relay on nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct to backup my Nostr activity. Amazingly easy to setup and get running!

I'm currently doing my research, and will be setting up my own lightning node! I still need to stack a few more sats for opening channels too. Soon!
How many sats will you need to fund each channel? How many channels?

I'm still reading the docs and watching some vids. I've got 5 days of work, then a couple off, I'll really dive into it then. I have about 0.01 BTC to play with, that might be enough to learn, I'm not sure yet.
Lightning is hard but this UX is promising.
You get why lightning is hard when you try and zap your node with your zap wallet and it fails cause you don’t have any inbound.

If it’s just to learn, open a couple 500k channels out and find a couple people to open channels to you, ideally different people than you opened your outgoing channels to. That will give you 4 channels to play around with, and you’ll have incoming and outgoing liquidity.
I’m doing the same while I wait for ₿itcoin Node to complete its synchronization. So in my spare time I try to watch and learn as much as I can so when the time comes I can get started. Must say the Telegram community is insane.
