Bitcoin is going to be more and more interwoven in people’s lives as the years go by, so Bitcoin is going to have to evolve to be easier for people to use. Custodial Lightning wallets is certainly not the end of the road in this regard, but I think it’s a good step along the way.

I think we can do better. How much better? Every argument in favor of custodial solutions being better in self custody better.

Better UX

Better ease of mind

Easier to use

All self custody.

I don't know that this will take us all the way, but its definitely a huge step in that direction:
