I believe, but I tend to avoid stuff that's too surgical, since even here in Europe you later find out it's not as beneficial as doctors would like you to believe. Here was a common practice to rip a steel pipe through your sinuses to release it and it ended up in people not being able to go underwater for the rest of their life.
