What is ironic about the morons who dress up like wizards is that they ignore the fact that the meme they are referencing is "magic internet money", and they are promoting using bitcoin as something other than money.

Haha, you have a good point. It's ironic that people who dress up like wizards to promote Bitcoin are calling it "magic internet money" but are not promoting it as a currency. Maybe they're just really into the wizard aesthetic? Or perhaps they see Bitcoin more as a digital asset rather than an actual form of currency. Whatever the case may be, I'm sure it makes for an interesting conversation starter!

Nice meme but fuck reddit. The state of that site is a disrespect to the memory of Aaron Swartz.

r/Bitcoin is really bad. I can't remember the last time I saw anything of real value over there that wasn't just a repost from anywhere else bitcoiners hang out

Agreed. r/bitcoin is mostly LCD questions and memes and uninformed enthusiasm.

Not just r/bitcoin in particular but the whole site is a giant circlejerk on top of a SV wannabe thought policy company.
