If you're using a custodial lightning wallet and have considered opening a channel with a more self custodial version, please consider generating some words, perhaps some hardware for a signing device and using that fee to move on chain and learning self custody of your keys.
But that whole "more than you're willing to lose" would absoluty cover a fraction of this amount personally 😂
