Part of the decentralization process of anything is trial and error. This AWS stuff is an error. The correct response is to shift to other servers. Decentralization is a journey, not the destination. It never ends. Think of how China banning mining was good for decentralization in the long run. The damage in the short term made it look like bitcoin was centralized. But it eventually ended up being good for bitcoin and decentralization. Whenever the government attacks bitcoin mining in Texas, the decentralization process would continue. In other words, the system decentralizes when needed. This is what makes bitcoin robust and why it has survived this long. It’s quite beautiful when you take a step back and look at the big picture. It’s also why people say that everything is good for bitcoin.
