I'm not a monero bro just to be clear, but I do value privacy and would love to see improvements in this area for Bitcoin. Lightning is 0.0002% of the Bitcoin network. Very prone to attacks by the states being a niche of a niche. Privacy needs to be a primary feature of Bitcoin. Not a fringe use case. Doxxing strategy holdings will hopefully help build this narrative.

Doesn't it make you wonder why the use of Bitcoin has risen exponentially yet onchain fees are at all time lows? Yes, because at least several thousand times as much PAYMENTS are done with lightning than on chain.

Even while shitcoiners are polluting at least 30% of blocks with their scammy token inscriptions.

Lightning literally combines Tor and what private ledgers used by exchanges do.

It's not even possible to measure the change, except the transactions have disappeared.

Already went through this yesterday. The number of payments being processed by lightning is only part of this story. It's a great thing no doubt. If the size of lightning, the quantity of committed coins to lightning channels, doesn't increase massively then lightning is an easy target. Whirlpool was state level attacked with 8k coins mixed. Lightning is operating at about half that size. It's fringe. Fringe gets killed. Make these things norm to build resistance.
