Unpopular(?) opinion:
The 60 second “in this episode/coming up” at the beginning of podcasts is completely unnecessary.
I don’t have TikTok brain. I’m listening to the entire episode and skipping that section every single time.

I agree. I already know if I am going to listen to something before I start it.
100% agree. I actually get mad at this shit. Not only that:
- “hey guys, this is X. “ like, who gives a fuck? You’re presenting the show. It is your show. Fuck it. Let’s get down to business.
- unprepared host. Fuck, do some research. Show the potential of the guest you’re bringing.
Podcasts are like books for me: on the first sentence, if I question something being pure filler, I’m skipping. I’m often right.
