i let myself get stuck in cities for no reason for way too much of my life

i am in a marginal area on an island right now, and my next residence will either be in northeast bosnia or altai or somewhere near there

not just stay out of the cities, stay out of the well known countries

it's worth learning another language, often people are fascinated if people don't generally migrate there, if it's hard country especially, the madeirans are very friendly, especially the northerners, i have tried to learn more portugese but honestly here, cabo verde, brazil, portugal, these are all bad places to be long term, i'm going to move once i'm convinced i have to get moving

it would be nice if you could defend your ground but most of your neighbours are assholes and will sell out to the enemy so fuck being stuck to a place

I've heard good things about Costa Rica.

i've got three places in mind:

eastern central rockies

northeast bosnia

southern siberia

just gotta keep stackin and one of them is gonna stand out for some reason

we have english on one, i already know a decent amount of serbo croatian on the other, and last one knowing serbo-croatian helps a lot with russiand and plus i have some bulgarian

these are my preferred locations becaues they are high altitude and far from the coasts (the central mediterranean is a shallow basin relatively speaking)

Siberia would be an interesting place to live. The culture is fascinating.
