I mean, I grew up in the low-fat, eat 5 small meals a day era. How could not eating for a day or two (or 7) be helpful?
Since my wife's illness, we have done multiple 3 day fasts. Though, not easy at first, it gets easier with time, as your body adjusts to not being in a constant state of being fed.
Let this be an intro for you to learn a little more about the way our bodies were designed to function with and around food. Then look for more information to get a better understanding of how food is the key to health.
