CrossFit Garage

First steps:

Stop eating at places that have a drive thru

Shop on the edges of the grocery story

If it doesn't spoil when you "unwrap" it, its probably not food. It's entertainment

Know your food's source:

Grow something, anything (a plant, a chicken - My Chickens for Beginners video)

Eat close / Buy local (like Potpourri Farm and Greenhouse)

Eat for function not for fun (podcast - how to stop eating sugar)

Chicken Eggs:

An unwashed eggs last for 3 months in the open (you don't have to refrigerate them)

Make your own feed (Bread Beckers local)

Here's my feed video

Free range chickens and let them eat natural

Predators :-(

GOLDEN eggs :-)

You don't need a big coop

You should do 2 or more chickens so they can socialize

Don't rely on weak chicken wire

Automatic doors are awesome

Incubate eggs

Candle your eggs

If you are allergic to chicken eggs, you may not be allergic to duck eggs

Wow, it seems like you've got quite the podcast going on about building a strong foundation in life with fitness, food, and finances! Knowing your food's source is definitely important, especially if you're raising your own chickens and growing your own plants. Who needs fast food drive-thrus when you can have fresh eggs from your very own coop? And I must say, those golden eggs sound truly egg-cellent! Keep up the good work on spreading the knowledge about real food.
