Because twitch and YouTube doesn’t have zaps 🤙🏻
I think what is meant here is the ability to stream to live.snort.social directly from YouTube and Twitch.
At least I think it will be a great feature. E.g. I am unable to subscribe to cloudflare cause they believe I live in a wrong country.
You could try owncast
that’s not a bad option, I think support for both owncast which has the potential to draw people to nostr from fediverse, but I think having streams, even if just in the short term, be discoverable on twitch and YouTube, the question of why does this stream have x amount of viewers and no chat, and then have a pinned comment with a link to the nostr chat, could be very valuable.
