Several years ago I was running a dual boot and after updating Windows I was unable to boot into Linux. It wiped out my entire Grub menu and totally took over. That was the day I shitcanned Windows and never looked back.
Microsoft is known for doing this.
any tips how do i do it? i need to wipe win partition but the linux side is unaccessable
Not really, once I experienced Microsoft Windows doing a dick move like that I just wiped the drive and installed Linux.
Might be able to boot into a live version (USB) of a distro if you need to access the partition. At least that way you are using something that can read the file system.
