I don't think the United States is the good guy in this story, but in this case, it's the lesser of two evils. It was either this or remain prisoners in a failed state led by socialist-communists. If you don't live in Venezuela or aren't from Venezuela, you don't have the ability to understand how much damage these 25 years of Chavismo have caused, and it's easy for you to say that the United States is being abusive by intervening in this matter, which in turn means that you have no way of expressing a relevant or truly informed opinion. 🤷

I have travelled through Venezuela at the peak crisis from 2014 and 2015, while living between 2014 until 2016 in Ecuador / Colombia.
But yeah to be honest I don't have much idea about Chavismo other than the sources from my Venezulean friends.
