yes I think that really speaks to the current situation!

The Fediverse had the same problem, getting mainstream users to understand the basics of decentralizion. Nostr has that barrier and more, because in addition to understanding decentralizion you also have to understand Bitcoin AND be figure out how to sign in to clients with an unfamiliar paradigm (not username/password). Widespread adoption of Nostr will continue to struggle until those barriers are obfuscated or lowered for new user onboarding.

Just my two cents as a long time decentralizion advocate but new Nostr user :)
