Nice idea.
A backup key in cold storage, with public proofs in various places, that go back in time.
Perhaps even in nip05 which is the other half of a verified account.
The hard part is making the backup into a primary.

The idea of whitelisting an npub for account migration would be brilliant. However I can imagine that the implementation may require some deep pondering by the devs.
