I put the same amount of slave tokens towards btc every week and the amount of sats I get in exchange is really getting low

think about mining. energy prices fluctuate less and can make your sats flow more predictable.
I used to mine back in the days of the S1 and s5's, unfortunately being on a boat with unreliable power and high humidity it's not really practical atm
That's a feature not a bug
