Today was my mother's 58th birthday. On Sunday I turned 29. I'm officially half her age.

She won't see this because she isn't on Nostr, but I want you all to know how much I appreciate her.

There were some years were shit was tough and our relationship wasn't good, but during my 20's she help support me as my body deteriorated. She was there on so many occasions when I had seizures. She's an incredible person, and I'm glad I can say we are close now.

Family isn't a right. It's a privilege. We earned the relationship we have by working on it.
