(I mean I'm just guessing here lolol) . Sorry, I meant people would divide their time 50/50 between the two. I think a lot of people here do care about decentralisation. However the content isn't here and people want content. Zaps on twitter would also be seen as 'the fight in normie land' in the evangelical spirit of orange pilling. I personally I'm not convinced that evangelicalism is a great idea for bitcoin or religion, I think these things are for seekers lol.

It would definitely be interesting if this happened tho.

ah ok, i think most notable bitcoiner accounts on nostr are still 50/50 on twitter tho, i dont think there are many 100% nostr only ppl here, im seeing some ppl here also post a lot on bluesky too

If BlueSky introduced zaps... Now that is somewhat likely. I wonder what would happen to nostr 🤔?

I haven't looked at BlueSky again 👀 I'm not into being on multiple social media platforms. I'm not even really into being on one. I have a stack of unread books and a heap of laundry to put away 😭

lol me too i just peek in there sometimes but havent posted anything for a while just wanna see if there are any new futures or have they federated yet the answer is no lol

You know I still don't know what federating actually is lol.

Can / will nostr become a fed/ instance within BlueSky? See I don't even know how to construct this question lol

basically like mastodon/fedi an account can move to another server, difference is on bsky you can take ALL your data with you (incl. your posts) where on masto/fedi your posts stays on the old server. i guess if someone makes a bridge to bsky like we have bridged masto/fedi you can call that federated 🤷🏻‍♂️ i dunno

Could BlueSky be a nostr client? 🤔

It's a different protocol so the answer is likely no. What could happen is you could technically have your own instance with a bluesky address and crosspost into both and pull in data from both, but that would likely result in broken threads on both sides for other people reading either on bsky AT or fedi AP.

Though now that I think of it, there may be a way to relay related posts in both directions from your instance...

Not had Twitter for years, why deal with legacy internet?
