I think Bitcoin will win in the end but it will fail to deliver on making the world much better in the end, only better for the people that hold Bitcoin. That's part of the premise for wanting to get some. It will be captured, even if that just means making on chain payments restrictively expensive by filling blocks with high fee, state approved transactions. People with lots of bitcoin will be able to pay for fees but the freedom we enjoy today of using Bitcoin on chain could become too expensive for regular people and regular sized purchases. The state and wealthy elite will simply massively adopt Bitcoin and make it go to the moon. I'm just ranting, but it's something I was feeling today.

I sometimes feel like the people who love Bitcoin for the freedom it "brings humanity" will one day have to ask themselves do I still love Bitcoin even though it only helps me now? And not your average person trying to live/save? When the options they have for saving are likely some bank note correlated to Bitcoin offered to the masses? Sometimes it feels inevitable. Only those who got in early enough will be free.
