🌊🚢 eDNA Expeditions Phase II officially launched at — aboard the magnificent Statsraad Lehmkuhl! 🇳🇴⚓

Led by UNESCO Ocean, supported by Minderoo Foundation in collaboration with Wilderlab and powered by the Ocean Biodiversity Information System, this global campaign empowers citizen scientists worldwide to monitor marine biodiversity with simple, science-based eDNA kits. aiming at scaling up to 2,500 samples—six times more than in Phase I—across 25 marine protected areas 🌎🔬

By harnessing environmental DNA, we’re building the molecular infrastructure needed to better understand & protect the ocean in the face of climate change, biodiversity loss & pollution. 💙
