Disable the setting in Safari for "advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection" if you want Safari to respect your Mullvad DNS settings on router. Otherwise it leaks DNS.

Yeh found it. How did you learn about the vpn safari conflict?

My initial instinct was to find how to access the settings menu from safari, which I wasnt able to achieve

I was confused why just iphone was getting dns leak when macbook did not. When I find something like that I can't let it go.

Was the leak with VPN on router, or VPN app on iphone?

Did the leak show on the mullvad leak page or did you find it via other means ?

It's activated on my phone yet mullvad didn't find any leak

This is specifically about the iphone connecting to my router that runs mullvad on the router.

I checked on mullvad leak page.

Oh that makes sense then, I have mullvad directly on my phone

With the Mullvad app on your phone and the advanced fingerprinting on, does mullvad show any DNS leak?

No it doesn't

Good to know
