Yeah but these rating agencies are politicized. nostr:nprofile1qqs2fj6373scelx3dvknzuwyvctehmvwr97y8wze3q3mqn0zvm80zyqpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0p37y4n's is almost certainly having their slimy pockets lined by Coremunists

I’m sorry, what’s an ass map again?

if someone runs 100 nodes it only counts them as one and filters the other 99 so you don't peer with them to prevent sybil attacks

So nothing to do with finding holes then. Thanks for the explanation, I learned something new

So one person can only have one node but as much hashrate as they like. Isn’t that some kind of double standard? Why isn’t a single person / company having lots of hashing power viewed in the same way as having lots of nodes?

because it's not about feelings its about the way the system actually functions in practice

I didn’t mention anything about feelings. I was looking for an answer as to why two things that seem similar to a non technical person are different. FWIW if anyone reading this is interested it’s because one node can many tor endpoints apparently.
