Had the opportunity to do LASIK back when BTC was at 20k in 2022.
The $4k it would have cost served my family much better as Bitcoin.
Now I’m ready though. Won’t be a good candidate in a few more years

As someone who got LASIK with no observable side-effects, stay away from the procedure.
The opportunity for horrible side effects is super scary. People off themselves because of them
Fair take and yeah, i'll never be the one to recommend it to anyone for that reason.
Research into the risks was initially what also made me pad the breaks a few years ago
From my research though, the option i think i'll choose (PRK) is more uncomfortable and slower healing, but since it only treats the surface fo the cornea, there are no flaps, & better night vision + less chance for glare if you have lager pupils (like me). Also it looks like any procedure that leave the eye still cloudy due to scarring or improper shaping can be redone by re-lasering and its harder to salvage an poor lasik fit.
I just have a consult scheduled, but im gonna still keep praying about it so I can feel confident about making the call

Also look into training your eyes. I wish I looked into that more before getting LASIK
