Excellent nuts and bolts episode. To some extent it does seem the end game is global energy supremacy and the vision of what that brings. I could make the case from their perspective you don’t want a bunch of retards to fuck that up, so we need to put the kabash on this talkie thing. 😂

They don’t get to make that decision. Unless they want our decision to become bullet or noose.

I think that is why they use all the soft obfuscating language. Here is a legit question, (thinking of Louis C K. Joke in which the gist of it goes something like how do you get the great human achievements, (pyramids, railroads etc, you name it.)You throw near infinite human suffering at it! Is this the case here? Of course we resist to the fullest extent. But? Also, I don’t know of course, but my suspicion is Elon is leveraging x to get a prime place in the hierarchy of this energy game. I cringe at the hero worship of him and makes me very suspicious of the people who praise him.

I don’t know man… you have lived a while, and are a pretty good perceiver of intention and character. What do you think?

All I can say, is I wouldn’t want the weight he’s got.

I think at these levels they are playing big boy existential games, (Our lives are the chips). Most of them are consequentialist, quid pro quo, do a little “evil” while believing it’s for the greater good and it might be. Some call this realists. I think these people think this is what best for “us.” I think there is a totalitarian in all of us, It’s the human condition, most of us never really get chance to express it on any scale. But who knows. I’m not certain of much. I just like to read and I’m probably too dumb to know that I shouldn’t be reading it. For every analysis out there, there seems to be a counter one. Will see how it all turns out. One thing I’m sure of is no one is going to satisfied.
