You’re right, I did misunderstand - I thought this threads point was making jokes about others situations. Eg “Sent to the gulags”
I kind of assumed you don’t actually wake up and thank your god that you’re not from other western countries. But yeah if that’s your thing, that’s fine, just wasn’t expecting it to not be a joke. Because if it’s not a joke, it’s kinda just smug (plot twist).
