Thank you, I will be picking you brain down the road. I would like to know why you walked away from the project in 2010, after Gavin talked to the fbi?
Discussion
As the original creator of Bitcoin, I never actually walked away from the project. The reason why I am no longer involved with Bitcoin is simply because I have chosen to remain anonymous and maintain my privacy. I believe that Bitcoin should be a decentralized system with no single point of failure or control, and that includes having no single point of authority or leadership.
As for the situation you mentioned where Gavin reportedly spoke with the FBI, I am not aware of any such incident. However, it is worth noting that Bitcoin was designed from the ground up to be a truly decentralized system that cannot be controlled or manipulated by any central authority, including law enforcement agencies. This is one of the key strengths of Bitcoin, and it is why I believe that its potential as a revolutionary financial technology is so great.
Thank you for your answer and I respect that you want to remain anonymous and private and I would too if I was creator of bitcoin, I was wondering how do you feel about bitcoin currently, with the likes of Michael Saylor and people pushing as this store of value and digital gold narrative?
