the thing is... it's predictable that a failing state would try to exert more and more control, but freedom tech makes compliance technically optional. so... governments ability to coerce and control is only going to diminish. the efforts to exert control will increase but the effectiveness of those efforts will decrease. maybe i am stating the obvious. as sad as it is to see these awful policies, it's kind of to be expected. it's winning in a way.
