What would you recommend for a newb so that they can get a lightning address and receive zaps?

Look to receive zaps on wos because it's so simple then I will tell them to get a Phoenix wallet open a large channel and move all zaps to Phoenix wallet and zap out from Phoenix.. my wallet of satoshi never sleeps with a sat in it.. and if they not on nostr I would even mention wallet of satoshi I always recommend Phoenix a self custody lightning network wallet

Everytime I stackadecent amount of sats to Phoenix I get charged 3000 sats in fees to manage channels. Not sure how to get around the onchain fees. It is going to hurt if fees keep rising.

Send a large amount to open channel. Then move back to your storage and now you have space to go in and out of that channel..

But leave some in there to keep the channel open. Example send 100k sats then send 90k sats back and now you have a 100k channel open. Move in and out freely.

I sent sats from WOS to someone with Alby and learned they aren’t compatible apparently. Still don’t understand why.
