Not entirely new for Bitcoin sirr. Products like GBTC (an OTC trust) existed since 2013, and various European ETPs (ETNs/ETCs) tracking Bitcoin launched years ago(2015-2016).
The financial packaging of assets for exchange trading is indeed an old game, now applied to new assets.
