Strfry gets recommended because it scales better so the majority of large relays use it. You can write a write plugin in any language but it is true that making changes to the source puts you in C++ hell :)
Am I being dumb to prefer nostream over stirfry or nostr-rs-relay, simply because I know JavaScript and the learning curve would be less steep for ME alone to jump in and tweak configs or functionality?
