I used to be in book club when I was 15 - to initiate me into the club, a girl hit me on the head with a hardback 🥲 trying to make friends is so hard sometimes. My English teacher Miss Reynard read the short story from the second picture to us. I think about that story quite often.

Funnily enough I have yet to read ‘The Awakening’.
