this is a good thing
I agree that it can be a good thing to keep kids off of social media but I don’t necessarily think a law like this is the right way to do it. It crosses the line as to what should be parental responsibility and was rushed through parliament with very little consultation or consideration as to how it will work and the implications of it.

I think it is definitely good to understand the technologies that could potentially be used for this to know what the limitations are, and what the privacy implications are.

I still can’t believe the legislation was rammed through Parliament so quickly and with so many questions surrounding the implementation and the implications of the new law.
