Someone told me today that the idea behind Bitcoin is dangerous and that it is upsetting the order of humanity and states. Something like that should be banned, he said.

I was amazed at how much this person understood and didn't understand Bitcoin at the same time.

Many things regarding "understanding" and thorough comprehension depend on the proper context, assumptions, predisposition, etc. If you ultimately trust a country's currency, then that will be your base truth in any (possibly extremely advanced) reasoning. Sometimes it's hard to figure out which assumptions/"truths" require reevaluation.

Even in discussion, it may be crucial that the right part gets emphasized to point such things out.

Yes, absolutely, I also believe that people need this "structure". After all, they have understood the rules and regulations in this structure and are more or less able to cope with them. Bitcoin or the "order" that has been abolished as a result is simply too "radical" I think.

Classic Stockholm Syndrome….

Many many will feel this way as Bitcoin gains further adoption and “disrupts” the State’s monopoly on money.

Stems from a toxic combination of fear and ignorance.

You're right, sometimes when people talk about a state monopoly or state violence, I sometimes feel like a conspiracy theorist. Only later do you realise that you have recognised things and that the others are somehow trapped in their "order".
