-THE BITCOIN ISLAND LIFE-

This is the surprising "Xuguang" highway in China. This road, which crosses mountains and valleys, stands out for its incredible height and the challenges of building it in such complicated terrain.

Elevated stretches, like the one in the photo, allow traffic to move over deep gorges, efficiently connecting the cities of Guangzhou and Xuchang.

In addition to being a feat of engineering, this road offers spectacular landscapes and a unique experience for drivers, as if they were crossing the sky.

The Chinese have way too much faith in their government and building. I'd be scared to death on that bridge given the history of China's concrete and steel falling apart

Thanks for the comment brother. I appreciate it ๐Ÿ™ As for myself I have absolutely zero faith in any government. There was a time I would have visited China, but their surveillance state has gone into hyperdrive over the last decade, so that's off the travel 'bucket list'.

Maybe I will do a post on bridge disasters next, and do some research, as of right now I know little about their records regarding construction disasters. Should be interesting ๐Ÿค”

I'm a builder. I follow their disasters as a caution of what not to do ๐Ÿ˜† you'll enjoy it

Ok, so I spent 10 minutes researching about just bridge collapse in China and found so many. In nearly all of the cases people lost lives, so in all good consciousness,I have chosen not to post about this here it's a shame, as so many amazing buildings and architecture has been created also. I think much of it comes down to corruption and cutting corners.

Also government negligence as usual.

But, we need government, otherwise

"Who will build the roads " right ?
