I wish global was like when I joined initially. So many new people that I’d chat to. Now it takes me so much effort to filter out any actual posts between all the spam.
Going for paid relays only would make me miss out on meeting newcomers.

A first solution is following all your followers.
Second one start looking into your followers favourite's follows list and look for someone new you are not following yet 😄🤙
Absolutely that, but following all your followers makes for a lot of noise on your feed. So you are going to be almost unable to track your posts (not even gonna talk about the replies).
