I thought it was great and underrated.
It was one of those movies where the complexity could have weighed it down, but they did it well and so the complexity added a richness to it.
To me, this movie was perfect.

Cloud Atlas was one of the lamest movies i have ever seen, but the Korean Sex Slave girl from the future had perky tits though, which is the only reason i watched it.
If you want to watch movies made for people who are over 12 years old and over 80 IQ watch some movies directed by Lars Von Trier.
my favorite LVT movies are "The Antichrist" and "Nymphomaniac" ... "Melancholia" is good too, but it was the most difficult to watch movie i have ever seen. Watching "Melancholia" is like being slowly waterboarded to death.
oh shit, almost forgot "Dogville" by LVT is awesome !
i forgot about it because it's almost more like a play than a movie ...
while all LVT movies are dark, most of them have a cathartic ending.
but not "Melancholia"
"Melancholia" just suffocates you, which is why i don't recommend it to anybody even though it is really good.
