What about free WiFi ?
I live in an apartment with free Wi-Fi. It's a good idea but... I dunno if the network sucks or I'm just too far from the router.
Probably too far from the access point. See if you can get a good signal anywhere in your apartment. If you can, consider installing a WiFi repeater there.
